The Scarlet Beach Resort & Spa in Petrothalassa, Argolis (near Porto Heli) which is considered the “Monaco of Greece” is a mixed use 5* boutique hotel which comprises two components: the hotel and the private residences.
The main goal here being to design a luxurious complex that fits the Greek morphological and architectural vocabulary.
Every component is crafted for an unforgettable experience. They all come together to shape your typical Greek experience, strolling down those narrow, romantic alleys where each and every tiny one opens up to a gorgeous vista where ocean and sky effortlessly blend.
Scarlet Beach is the ultimate Greek village with the ultimate dreamy location, resting on a hill. One feels struck by this dramatic view and left in awe and thirst to further absorb from this mythological serenade.
The hotel complex is surrounded by the sea, sandy beaches and rocky seashore as well. In order to access the rocky parts of the seashore, outdoor stairs lead to small floating docks located towards the coastline. In fact, a strong emphasis was given to the vehicular and pedestrian networks given their crucial aspect in the project, not only in a morphological sense but functional as well.
The objective is the reduction of the use of vehicles within the complex, making it a pedestrian friendly setup, and the distinctive design of the parking spaces. Vehicle circulation will be reduced to the minimum still without creating any difficulties to the guests. Pedestrians will be able to move easily through the complex as well without disturbing the privacy of the premises.
The private residences are characterized by refined luxury defined by a Mediterranean minimalistic ambiance draped in earth-tone materials, soft transitions, with a focus on integrating harmoniously with nature.
Each house enjoys its own privy swimming pool and garden, intimately connected to the surrounding landscape, preserving those unparalleled views generated from the natural hillside of the site.
Taking advantage of the spectacular beauty and setting of the site, an exquisite spa is beautifully tucked with a Mediterranean air that is also fused from the olive garden surrounding all the buildings. The landscaping is completed with Greek aromatic plants and water features to create a peaceful environment that appeals to all senses.
Sustainability is another highlight with the inception of the table-to-farm concept and keeping a purified healthy food regime aligned with the wellness and spa section.
