Jasmine Park Residence’s design embodies a commitment to sustainability, seamlessly integrating pedestrian-friendly elements with a lush landscape to create an ac¬cessible and inviting urban environment. The city’s layout prioritizes walkability, ensuring that pedestrians can navigate through vibrant green spaces with ease. By incorporating shaded walkways, pedestrian bridges, and thoughtfully designed green corridors, Jasmine Park Residence fosters a connected and immersive experience for its residents. The lush landscape not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the city’s sustainability goals by promoting natural cooling and reducing urban heat. This harmonious blend of functionality and environmental stewardship makes JPR a model for future urban developments, where people can enjoy both a thriving natural environment and an efficient, sustainable urban infrastructure completed by a screen of lush greenery.
The project demonstrates three different landscape themes.
The Aesthetic Landscapes: Landscapes for recreation and social life. Natural colors are mostly used within the site with simple components that create a calming effect. Lush gardens, forest, seasonal and flower gardens are introduced to guarantee an aesthetic landscape and a natural environment coincide gracefully.
The Therapeutic Recreational: Landscapes for achieving physical, mental and spiritual healing. This is achieved through relaxed sensory garden, healing & Zen gardens, yoga zones and outdoor gym spaces.
The Explorative Landscapes: Landscapes that generate new knowledge, and create sensory experiences. Smart, educational landscapes, kids’ playground, create the adequate setup for all curious wanderers to freely room around.
The design emphasizes movement through varied plant species, echoing the rhythm of nature. In private gardens it relies on natural, living barriers to define intimate spaces. Hedges act as soft, organic enclosures, offering a more fluid, breathable separation compared to hard walls. The playground on its turn, in close proximity to the residential buildings to ensure supervision, fosters through plantings of buffers of low vegetation a lively yet contained environment. These buffers act as a natural boundary that separates the active play area from other shared spaces.
In contrast, yoga and recreational spaces are nestled within the dense greenery, where light filters through leaves, and the atmosphere feels removed from the everyday hustle of the residential complex. The densely vegetated areas evoke a sense of seclusion and tranquility. These spaces are enveloped by layers of tall trees, shrubs, and ground cover, creating a serene retreat that contrasts with the more active areas of the landscape. The vegetation acts as both a visual and acoustic buffer, immersing users in nature while providing a private refuge.
The implementation of a green buffer zone within the setback area is intended to enhance privacy by creating a natural screen that shields the building from external views and reduces visibility into private spaces.
The private terraces on the ground floor level provide residents with exclusive outdoor spaces, offering a sense of seclusion while still being connected to the surrounding environment and communal areas.
The design provides quick connectivity that facilitates easy walking and biking, enabling people to navigate seamlessly around the core area. This efficient circulation promotes accessibility and encourages active transportation options.
The incorporation of a green buffer zone is proposed to mitigate the excessive noises and sounds emanating from the crowded core, providing a natural barrier that absorbs sound and enhances tranquility for the residents.
The amenities, including pools, outdoor gym, playgrounds, and relaxation spaces, are strategically located based on a sun study. This positioning ensures optimal sunlight exposure and enhances the usability and enjoyment of these recreational areas throughout the day.
The crowded core creates a constant stream of sounds and noises which frequently disturb the peace and comfort of the residents living throughout the building. The integration of a buffer zone between the public realm at the core and the building’s plot enhances privacy by creating a transitional space that separates communal areas from private residences, reducing visibility, minimizing disturbances and providing walking trails as well as seating areas.
Jasmine Park Residence represents a verdant, holistic community that speaks to its residents and users; an urban oasis focused on wellness and oneness with nature.
